Organic Data Protection Law

This law is a Spanish regulation that reinforces and adapts national legislation to the framework of the GDPR of the European Union. It covers both the protection of personal data and the digital rights of citizens.

It introduces specific provisions on consent, rights to access, rectification and deletion of data, and establishes proactive accountability measures for organisations.

In addition, it guarantees digital rights such as the right to digital disconnection, Internet neutrality, among others, thus ensuring that people’s fundamental rights are maintained in the digital environment.
