E-Government, or electronic government, refers to the use of digital platforms, tools and information technologies by government entities to offer services, communicate with citizens and perform internal operations. Its main objective is to make government services more accessible, efficient and transparent to citizens.

Example: Imagine an online platform where citizens can perform all procedures related to driver’s licenses: apply, renew, pay fines and even schedule exams. This eliminates the need to physically visit an office, saving time and reducing crowds.
